This past Sunday we were honored to have two amazingly talented solo performers grace our humble stage. Both Leah King and Seth Lepore are only temporarily in NYC so we were felt pretty lucky to get some of their time while they are in town.  They both are powerful performing presences with great messages and healthy dose of humor in their work.

Leah, visiting from her current base in Berlin, performed original songs, cover tunes. She even music from her one woman show Can I Get A Smile?, which got us into a spirited discussion about street harassment.

Seth is in NYC bringing his one man show Loosing My Religion to the Frigid New York theater festival this week. He performed a segment from the show which was hilarious and poignant. But not nearly as hilarious as the rockin’ interpretive dance he did for us afterwards.
