Whatta show! Whatta show!

It was a lovely spring day (finally) here in Brooklyn and what better way to enjoy it then with amazing artists!

I finally got Quincy Ledbetter out here for his first show in a while!  (This was of course after also imploring him to move to Brooklyn from Jersey City!) Ha!  This multi-talent (musician, producer, photographer, screenwriter…I could go on and on) knocked out some soulful originals AND we got to do a couple songs he & I wrote together last year!

We hope he will come back soon after he records his next EP this coming summer!

We also welcomed back the ever amazing, Slash Coleman to the stage!  He tells a story like no other!  Tales of dressing up like Peter Criss at the young age of 8, melted our little KISS-hearts, as did his story of his journey to becoming a rockin’ keys player for a groovy Richmond based band at the tender age of 9!

His book, “The Bohemian Love Diaries” drops in just a few weeks and then he will be out on the road for his book tour.  Be sure to pick up your copy!

Last, but certainly not least, we welcomed the fabulous poet CK Hugo Chung, all the way from Taiwan!  His bi-lingual poems weave Chinese & English together seamlessly as he told tales of his tenure in New York and then about returning back to his homeland after 10 years in the Big Apple.

Thank you all for making our Sunday just a bit happier!  P1070453
