What an amazing show!
We were lucky enough to feature a rare solo performance by Uncle Leon (without his Alibi’s.) He showed us a bit of his softer side with songs like “Trash & Rust,” about his hometown of Detroit, that was a definite highlight! He also kept us moving in our seats with favorites, “Hot Rod Mamma’s” and the super fun sing-a-long song, “Beer Train,” that had the whole studio audience joining in and rocking out!
His days of singing in the subway may be long behind him but I guarantee you will want to listen to this brilliant & amazing songwriter with a voice reminiscent of Johnny Cash, over and over again! Check out his latest album, “Wild Ways!”
The lovely & talented storyteller, Emma Gordon, was also here and shared some beautiful stories about travelling the world at the tender age of 18 and meeting some wonderful people along the way that touched her heart. Her stories of adventure, compassion and loss really touched our soul and was a good reminder to appreciate each moment we are given here in this place and the people (and cows!) we share it with.
In case you missed it live, I have included the entire episode right here for your viewing pleasure! enjoy!
