Caliente Sunday!

Well, this past Sunday was quite a trip! We were honored to host a rare appearance by Alejandro & Oates.

First conceived as a Hall and Oates cover band, A&O has morphed into performance art, part musical, part comedy. Silly, smart, and funny, A&O’s originality may indicate the emergence of an entirely new and yet undefined genre. As it is sometimes said when trying to define the undefinable, you’ll know it when you see it…at least, hopefully.

They were even nice enough to invite me up for some old-school H&O’s favorites as well as some fun standards.

We also welcomed back the lovely Emma Gordon. Emma always has such beautiful stories that really get you reflecting and tugging on those heartstrings. She spoke about having conviction in oneself and your actions as well as what it’s like to be expecting for the first time.
