May the 4th Be With You!

The Millennium Falcon landed in Brooklyn for a spell and hosted our powerhouse 3rd season opener!

We were v excited to host comic, Matteo Lane, a former oil-painter & opera singer who now tells jokes, to the benefit of us all. He worked the crowd like the pro he is and everyone was in stitches within minutes! Gay, Italian/Mexican, and my oh my…what a range! His impressive chops put Mariah Carey (modern day, no range) to shame! He performs regularly around the city, from Stand Up NY Comedy clubs to Caroline’s, to other shows, be sure to catch him!

We were exalted to finely host the fabulous Miss Jessica Carvo & Seon Gomez since they were scheduled to perform the weekend Sandy hit NYC.

Their songs are expertly crafted & executed, and her voice at one moment soft & demure, then out of nowhere, she hits you with an impeccable belt. This lady has got it goin on! She performed my personal fav, “Cray Cray” along with other tunes you will want to put on repeat, like, “Fall For Me” and their amazing rendition of “Jolene!”
